The audiologist performs a Complete Hearing Test &#8211; Child. This is a hearing evaluation to determine if your child has a hearing loss or not. This test is suitable for children from 8 months to 4 years of age.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1657043269876{padding-bottom: 3em !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1>CHILDREN\u2019S HEARING TEST<\/h1>\n<h4 style=\"margin-top: 0.4em;\">(8 months to 4 years old, based on an audiologist\u2019s evaluation)<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>What is a complete hearing test for children?<\/h2>\n<p>The tests are usually done as games that require the child\u2019s cooperation. The tests are not painful or uncomfortable, and you can stay with your child throughout the exams.<\/p>\n<p>An audiologist conducts the tests. For very young children, there may also be an assistant or another audiologist to help.<\/p>\n<p>The test is done in a soundproof room. Headphones must be placed over the child&#8217;s ears.
